FCCLA competes in state competition

ASHLEY CLARK, CARA COXWELL, CAROLINE BROWN, JADA HALL, CHEYENNE WILLIS, PAULA HOOKS, AND RUTH MILTON.
Emanuel County Institute's FCCLA recently competed in state competition in Athens, GA, April 17-19. Paula Hooks competed in Illustrated Talk and received a silver medal. Jada Hall and Caroline Brown competed in Focus on Children "Read Me a Story" and received a gold medal. Taking top honors and receiving a gold medal and first in state were Ruth Milton, Cheyenne Willis, and Cara Coxwell. They competed in Chapter Service Project Manuel, which was the club's yearly service project entitled "Clean-up Committee of Bulldog City". These three girls will compete at Nationals in Orlando, FLA, July 13-17, 2008.
