Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church to hold anniversary celebration The Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church will celebrate the 5th Anniversary of its pastor, Dr. Alfred Cason, on May 15, 16 and 18, 2008. Thursday night services will begin at 7:30 p.m. with the St. James Baptist Church and Rev Bennie Brinson as guests. Friday night will begin at 7:30 p.m. with Macedonia Baptist Church and Rev. E Neal Dixon as guests. The Sunday Service will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Kenneth B. Martin, President of the East Region of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia as guest. St. Philip Baptist Church to hold event The Twelve Tribes of Israel of St. Philip Baptist Church in Swainsboro present a Pre-Mother's Day Family and Friends' Night on Saturday, May 10 beginning at 5 p.m. Musical guests will be St. Philip Choir and Trumpets of Joy Quartet. Piney Grove MBC to hold event In honor of Mother's Day, the YEP Ministry cordially invites all to attend 100 Mothers of Elegance on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 5 p.m. The event will be held at the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cross-Green Community in Emanuel County, Ga. Rev. Michael Thomas is pastor. Stillmore First Baptist Church to hold revival The Stillmore First Baptist Church will hold an O'l Time Revival May 14-16 , 2008 with each service beginning at 7:30 p.m. nightly. On May 14, guests will be God's Holy Tabernacle and Choir, McCloud Covenant, Stillmore Deliverance Center and Mt. Gilead, with the welcome by Brother Jerry Stokes and Pastor Amos Handsom, Jr. as speaker. On May 15, guests are Mt. Zion, Soperton, Ga.; Lester Grove and Ohoopee Grove, with the welcome by Sister Lou Ann Patterson and Reverend B.J. Martin as speaker. Friday night, May 16, guests will be Gethsemane, Oak Grove and Tremont Temple with Sister Iredene Woods giving the welcome and Reverend Cecil Dunlap as speaker. Morningside Baptist Church to hold revival Morningside Baptist Church on Holton's Chapel Church Rd. will hold a revival May 12- 14, with each service beginning at 7 p.m. There will be special music each night. The guest evangelist will be Dr. Charles V. Drummond, East Central Georgia Ministry Resource Consultant for the Georgia Baptist Convention. He is from Augusta. Pastor is Rev. Louis Pearce. Blundale Baptist Church to hold revival The Blundale Baptist Church will hold a Revival on May 18-21, 2008. Services on Sunday night begin at 6 p.m. with Ray Jenkins. Monday night begins at 7 p.m. with Craig Tillman. Tuesday night is at 7 p.m. with Reece Mincey and Wednesday night is at 7 p.m. with Grady Collins.
