Sheriff's Report Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported: April 12 An Advantage Ln. woman reported that she and her ex-husband got into a physical altercation. A Hewett St., Metter man reported that he got into an argument with his girlfriend and she cut his right arm with something. April 13 A King Circle Dr. woman reported that an unknown suspect entered her residence and took several items. A man driving on Hwy 192 reported hitting a turkey. Officers assisted the GSP with a vehicle accident at Hwy 57 and the bypass. Officer reported being called to I-16 W to check on a box in the road which had several items inside. April 14 A Pendleton Springs Rd., Lyons man reported that someone came onto his property at the hunting club and removed a tractor. A King Circle Dr. woman reported that someone entered her residence and took several items. A Hwy 23, Metter woman reported that the suspect, who was identified, moved and took the stove with her. April 15 Officers were called to an altercation at Will's Kwik Shop. A King Circle Dr. woman reported that she and her spouse were arguing and he was trying to get into the house and damaged the side door. An Oak Grove Church Rd. woman reported that an unknown suspect pulled up her 911 address sign and laid it on the ground. Aman driving on Hwy 57 E reported hitting a deer. A Joe Bynes Rd. woman reported that someone, who identified himself, called her cell phone and stated someone, who was identified, had been shot in the back three times and was dead. AHwy 80 E man reported that the suspects, who were identified, had made over 17 harassing phone calls to his cell phone. April 16 A Wildcat Rd. man reported that his truck was parked on Hwy 80 W and someone took his CB radio and strobe light. A Bird Flanders Rd. man reported that someone entered her residence by force, damaging the door, and took several items. A woman driving on Old Canady Rd. reported hitting a deer. AGeorgia D.O.T. employee reported that persons unknown entered onto state property and took approx. 30 sign posts and several other items. ASwainsboro Supply employee reported that suspect, who was identified, entered his business and charged merchandise at his store to customers that did not approve the charge. A Sutton Dr. man reported that the suspect, who was identified, stayed at his residence with him and his wife and when he woke up his vehicle and the suspect were gone. An Almond Rd. S, Twin City man reported that someone entered his residence and took a change jar. April 17 A Troop Ln., Dublin man reported that he got into an argument with his wife and she slapped and scratched him on his face and neck. An Old Barn, Savannah man reported that someone entered his property and cut the locks on an outbuilding, taking several items. A Vidalia man reported that a gun was stolen from his family's house in Swainsboro. A woman driving on Hwy 80 E reported hitting a deer. A Hwy 1 S man reported that he believes the suspect, who was identified, entered his property and took several items without permission. April 18 A man at the intersection of Hwy 297 and Hwy 46 reported hitting a deer. A Lawrence Sherrod Rd., Midville woman reported the suspect, who was identified, came by and attempted to take a vehicle from her yard. A Bird Flanders Rd. man reported being bitten by a dog while breaking up a dog fight. A man driving on Hwy 221 N reported hitting a deer. April 19 A Stevens St. woman reported that she had been gone from the address for a month and when she returned someone had taken some items. Officer arrested Apolonia L'Shari Brooks, 21, 331 A Lewis St., Swainsboro for driving with a suspended license and failing to stop at a stop sign. A Tiger Trail woman stated that the suspect, her son, had caused her to call 911 previously on the same date. An Swainsboro man reported that he picked up his daughter from his ex-wife and the child has a large bruise on her rear.
