Late night blaze

The Swainsboro Fire Department responded to a call at 10:30 p.m. on Monday, April 21, to a fire in an unoccupied residence on Williams Street. It was first reported that an explosion ignited the blaze, but no evidence to support that theory has been found. There were no injuries during the blaze, which continued to smolder through Tuesday morning.
