Miss Sledge, Mr. Braswell announce engagement
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. Harold E. Crowder of Griffin and the late Mrs. Gwen L. Crowder and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sledge. Amy is a 2003 honor graduate of Spalding High School in Griffin. She graduated Cum Laude from Georgia Southern University in 2007 with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in child and family development. Amy is currently pursuing her Masters in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. The groom-elect is the grandson of Ms. Lula Bell Kellam of Kite and the late Mr. John Kellam. Paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Braswell. Cole is a 2002 honor graduate of Emanuel County Institute in Twin City. He graduated from East Georgia College in 2006 and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Religion from Liberty University. Cole is employed by Verizon Wireless. The couple will be wed in May during a private ceremony at the Chapel in the Pines at Guido Gardens with a reception to follow at the Statesboro Inn. Invitations are being sent.
