Steven and Josh Band to perform at Relay

The Steven and Josh Band will perform at Relay for Life, Friday night, April 18.

"We are excited to have The Steven and Josh band for entertainment this year at Relay. They are scheduled to play at 8 p.m. and immediately after the Luminary ceremony around 10 p.m." stated Dawn Edenfield, Entertainment and Activities Chair.

Steven Hudson and Josh Alford are both from Swainsboro. They have played music together off and on for ten years. Over two years ago, they decided to form a small acoustic act which took off like wildfire. They began playing locally, and it wasn't long before the word spread about the talent that the two possessed. They have played in South Carolina and all over Georgia, including Athens, Macon, Statesboro, and everywhere in between. They have opened for the Swinging Medallions on countless occasions, as well as Confederate Railroad, Rhett Akins, and on April 22nd, the guys will be the opening act for Georgia's own, Luke Bryan. They bring it all to their shows by offering a little bit of country, a little bit of rock, and a little bit of southern classics. They also have their own original songs, which add the final touches to the fun and energetic style that Steven and Josh bring every time they step onto the stage.
