Tigers slug Metter, jarred by Vidalia and SE Bulloch
BY MICHAEL HENRY

Last Monday, March 31, the Tigers were most unfortunately humbled by Vidalia. Austin Peebles pitched a good game but sustained a heavy loss. The Tigers just couldn't get any points on the scoreboard. Anyone could tell that the Tiger defense was down just from looking at the scoreboard. The final score was 11-0 Vidalia.

In a clash of Tigers the Swainsboro Tigers slugged the Metter Tigers on Tuesday, April 1. Justin Newsome earned himself 3 RBIs when he slammed a home run out of the park. He also pitched in the game and earned the win in relief. Not surprisingly, Javec King and Chris Keyton put the ball in play for 2 hits apiece. Keyton even earned an RBI while he was at it. Daniel Spears was 2-2 with a pair of doubles that put 2 Tigers across home plate. Final score was 12-6 Tigers.

Friday, April 4, the Tigers were humbled once again to Southeast Bulloch. King pitched the game, but it just wasn't enough to hold back Southeast Bulloch. King did earn an RBI, however, after swinging into a single. Daniel Kirkland put the ball way up to earn himself an RBI through a sacrifice fly ball. Try as they might, the Tigers lost 2-4.

This Friday the Tigers will play Vidalia away once again. The game will take place at 4 pm. Hopefully the Tigers will take all their game with them and give Vidalia a run for their money. Come out and support the Tigers!
