Leola Lumpkin McCoy, 81 Services for Leola Lumpkin McCoy, 81, of Adrian were held in the Adrian Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Monday, April 7 with the Reverends Inman Gerrald, Charles Parrish, Paul Curry and J.L. Adams officiating. Burial was in Durden Cemetery, Treutlen County. She died Friday, April 4, 2008. Mrs. McCoy was born in Treutlen County and was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Flossie Hutcheson Lumpkin, her husband, Leon McCoy, a son, Steve Mc- Coy, and grandson, Benjamin McCoy. She was retired from Oxford Industries, Dublin, and was a member of Adrian Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Franklin (Betty) Mc- Coy, Soperton; Daniel (Gloria) McCoy and Stanley (Rhonda) McCoy, all of Adrian; a sister, June Newsome, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brother, Wayne Lumpkin, Guyton; seven grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers were Clayton McCoy, Jason McCoy, Russell Sammons, Reagan Moxley, Bobby McCoy and Michael Thigpen. The honorary escort included members of the Marie Harrison and the Men's Sunday School Classes of Adrian Baptist Church.
