Sheriff's Report

Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported:

March 30

A Crider Poultry employee reported that they responded to a burglary call and followed the offender. As the victim approached the vehicle they noticed stainless steel products in vehicle appearing to be ones missing from Crider Poultry.

A Durden Rd. woman reported that she was riding with defendant, who was identified, and they got into argument with defendant. Defendant choked victim, then stopped vehicle and pushed victim out.

Deputies responded to a call by the county jail of a fight on Quick Road involving a gun. Upon arrival deputies separated those involved, gathered statements and advised rights to warrants.

March 31

A Mitchell St. woman reported that her and her ex-husband were having an argument about money and property, and the defendant pushed her down to the floor.

A Hwy 46 E, Twin City man reported that he had a driveway installed at his home and a Logging Company destroyed it with log trucks.

A Modoc Rd. man stated that while sleeping at his residence, his car was stolen.

A Gumlog Rd. woman reported that, during an argument with the defendant, who was identified, slapped and hit her on the face and body.

A Midville woman reported that her daughter left her cell phone at the Waffle King and went to retrieve the phone, but it was gone. Victim went to have the phone shut off, but someone had run up $300.00 worth of charges on it.

A man driving on Odomville Church Rd. reported hitting a deer.

April 1 A Canoochee Rd. man reported that, while driving on Ginger Drive, his front window shattered and he believes window was shot at.

A Kea Mill Rd. man reported sometime between March 30 and April 1, someone damaged the front light and screen door to the house.

April 2

A Metter man reported that his brother called him on the phone and threatened to kill him.

ABlundale Church Rd. man stated that he backed into victim's 2006 Mercedes. The right front of the victim's vehicle was damaged.

April 3

A Wanda Ln. woman reported her vehicle tag missing.

A man reported hitting a deer on Old Wadley Rd.

A Hunnicutt Circle man reported that while his vehicle was parked at Swainsboro Raceway, someone broke his passenger side window.

A Canoochee Bypass woman reported that an employee of a gas company went to the victim's house to pick up the gas tank and would not sign saying he did such.

April 4

A Hwy 23, Twin City man reported that unknown suspects entered onto his property and took items.

AWare's BBQ employee reported that an unknown suspect used a counterfeit $100.00 bill for food purchase.

A Swainsboro woman reported that her son took her .38 Special that she purchased.

Officer was conducting a walk-through near the Bama Club, and reported finding a suspicious clear bag on ground with what appears to be crack cocaine inside of it.

A Sycamore Dr. man reported that his ex-wife would not let him see their son.

An Oak St. woman reported that she was driving east on Hwy 56 and her rear driver's side tire blew out.

An Angela Dr. man reported that the suspect, who was identified, tried to pry open the doors on his vehicle.

A Teleflex Inc. employee reported that a vehicle tag was lost.

Officer responded to a call about the suspect and the victim, both identified, who were fighting in the middle of the road.

April 5

A J.M. Spearman Rd., Adrian woman reported that the suspect, who was identified, slapped her on the back of the head.

An Oak Grove Church Rd. man reported that he and the suspect were intoxicated and fought.

A man traveling south on Hwy 1 drove into a ditch.

A woman driving on Hwy 46 reported hitting a deer.

A Panther Rd. woman reported that the suspect, who was identified, got into an argument that resulted in a fight.

An Old Nunez Rd. man reported that someone entered a building and took several items.

April 6

AGeorgia Chrysler employee reported that an unknown suspect damaged the rear passenger door window by busting it out and entering the car, but nothing appeared missing.

AGeorgia Ave., Adrian man reported that he left his truck parked on Halls Bridge Rd. and when he returned, the truck was in the river.

An Adrian woman reported that her car ran out of gas and she left it, but when she returned it had been burned.

A man driving on Hwy 80 W reported hitting a deer.

A vehicle was found abandoned and burned on Brinson Cemetery Rd. by a passing motorist.
