CRCT tests this week Study hard. This week, Emanuel County public school students will be taking the Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT). Students in grades three, five and eight must meet state standards in order to be promoted to the next grade. All students are assessed on how well they have learned content standards for their grade. The students are being tested in the areas of reading, English/language arts, science and mathematics. These tests are required by state law The remaining schedule is: Thursday, Mathematics; Friday, Science; Monday, April 14, Social Studies. Good luck to all students and their parents as they collectively prepare for and complete these required tests.
