Stacy Lee Hanlin, 43 NEVILS--A private funeral and interment for Stacy Lee Hanlin, 43, of Statesboro, was held Saturday, March 29, 2008 in Nevils, Georgia. He passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Westwood Nursing Center after a long illness. Mr. Hanlin was born September 15, 1964 to Walter and Ann Hanlin. He was a retired shoe repair shop owner in Statesboro and Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Hanlin is survived by his parents, Walter and Ann Hanlin of Nevils, Ga.; 5 children, Dylan Hanlin of Statesboro; Kristen Cullum of Savannah; Emily Hanlin, Carston Hanlin, and Grace Hanlin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; 3 brothers, Walter Hanlin of Louisiana, Timothy J. Hanlin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Shawn Hanlin of Greenville, SC; 4 sisters, Crystal Chasan of Pigeon Forge, TN., Dawn Hanlin of Stuart, Fla., Kelly Hanlin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Anna May Hanlin of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands; and his soulmate Mary Kerlin of Statesboro; also a special friend, Karla Hough of Statesboro. Johnson Funeral Home of Swainsboro has charge of arrangements.
