SMS Science Fair

Swainsboro Middle School students recently competed in a school-wide Science Fair competition. Eighth graders were asked to research and report on science topics of their choice. Winners of the fair were Gordon Nail, first place overall; Chelsea Godowns and Anna Torrance, first place; Austin Proctor, Mary McDaniel, and Dee Young, third place. Each student who placed was presented a ribbon by the judges. The projects were on display throughout the month of February and on March 6 during SMS's Math and Science Family Night.
