Swainsboro Police Department arrests two

DOYLE
On Friday, March 28, 2008 at 4:30 p.m., Swainsboro Police officers arrested David LeWayne Doyle, 29, of Swainsboro for aggravated child molestation on a 13-year-old female relative. Doyle was arrested after crime lab reports of DNA samples from he and the victim proved to a mathematical certainty that he was the perpetrator. "A special well done to Corporal Craig Morris, who handled the entire investigation," says Chief Shuman. Lt. Richard Peacock, Sgt. Bryan Moore and Officer Robert Phillips assisted Morris in the arrest, which was made without incident.

At 9:59 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2008, Swainsboro Police were called to the Bradford Inn on a theft by taking call. Complainant Mukesh M. Patel stated she had a sum of money taken from the register in excess of $200 and that a survey of the video security system showed the person had indeed taken money and was currently lodged in one of the motel rooms. Officers went to the room and ascertained that it was occupied. Subject William Lee Mcgee, aka "Bill," 31, ran out of the room and, after
