Tigers destroy Screven, humbled by Westside

Tuesday, March 18, the Tiger baseball team traveled to Westside to play some of America's favorite past-time. The Tigers fought hard and didn't give Westside anything, but the game was lost. It was still tight, however, with a final score of 9-7. Most valuable players of the game were Javec King and Kyle Williams. King put two balls right over the fence to give himself 3 RBIs for the game. This was the first varsity game for Williams and what a first impression he made. Williams went 2-3 with 2 RBIs.

Friday, March 21, the Tigers played Screven and devastated them 10-0. King hit yet another homer, making it his fourth in three games. Justin Newsome, AKA Bubba, received the win for pitching and also earned himself an RBI. Wade Farrow went 1-2 with an RBI as well. The game was cut off early after just 5 innings of play.

The Tigers will play Cross Creek this Wednesday on their own field. Then on Friday they will travel to Jefferson County to play some ball in a region match. Please come out and support the
