Riles, Riner honored at engagement party Miss Christie Riles and Mr. Brad Riner, future bridal couple, were honored with an engagement party in Albany October 13 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Benford. Hostesses for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Benford, Mr. and Mrs. Macky Bryson, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Dockery, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Flatt, Ms. Kathy Pate, Mr. and Mrs. David Prisant, Ms. Marci Prisant, Mr. and Mrs. Burt Riles and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Riles. The home and patio was decorated with fresh flowers. A large clear urn with candles and flowers were centered on the dining table with an array of food. Guests were invited to the patio where everyone enjoyed socializing and giving toasts to the bride and groom to be. Special guests were Mr. and Mrs. Britt Riles and Mr. and Mrs. William Riner, parents of the couple; Mr. and Mrs. Jared Stubbs, sister and brother-inlaw of the groom-elect and Mrs. Gloria Gates and Mrs. JoAnn Riles, grandmothers of the bride-elect. Aunts, uncles and cousins included: Mrs. Darriel Lane, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Sconyers, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Andrews, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Johnson, Amber, Ansley and Abb, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Bernier, Mrs. Mariruth Whittle, Miss Gloria Field, Miss Rebecca Riles, and Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Field. The couple gave acrylic monogrammed serving trays for hostess gifts.
