Oak Park News: The Emanuel Baptist Church on Hwy. 292 East of Lyons will have "King J.E.S.U.S. Jubilee" (Jesus Eternally Saves Us Sinners) faultless and faithful monarch of man! March 26-28 at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be Danny Castle of North Carolina. Come hear anointed singing and powerful preaching. Pastor is Bro. Danny Zorn. Ella Esco was honored with a birthday party Saturday, March 15. a number of family and friends joined. She turned 3 on March 16. We would like to wish a belated happy anniversary to Tonya and Keith Johnson who celebrated their fifth anniversary Saturday, March 22. We hope they had a great day. The Mount Shady Baptist Church had their Easter egg hunt Saturday. A number of people attended. They all enjoyed hot dogs and hamburgers with all the trimmings. Tina and Garland Peebles went to see the Easter drama at the Blockville Church of God Friday night. The Collins Full Gospel Church will have revival April 6-9. Sunday service is at 6 p.m. Monday Wednesday service is at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. William Cumby. A cordial invitation is extended. For more information you may call 912-693- 7411. The Vidalia First Assembly of God will have John Jacobs of "John Jacobs and the Next Generations Power Force" for a "power Sunday" on April 13 in the 10:45 and 6 p.m. services. You do not want to miss this power packed service. The pastor is Rev. David Knight. Shawn Williams is in rehab and doing well. His mother, Judy is down in her back. Please continue to pray for both of them. Mrs. Dorothy Wickstrom went to Melvin and Annette Gillis' of Dudley Tuesday. There spend the night guest, Mrs. Gillis, brought Mrs. Wickstrom home Wednesday. The Corinth Free Will Baptist Church on Hwy 86 South of Oak Park will have homecoming Sunday, April 6. They will have Sunday school and morning worship as well. Rev. Tim Brantley will bring the message. They will have lunch after morning worship. They will have singing in the afternoon with local talent. They will not have an evening service. Jack and Lois Meeks had a number of family members join them Sunday for Easter. Corbie Phan carried Brianna and Heath Phan to spend some time with their daddy, Binh Phan, and family Easter Sunday afternoon. Later Corbie and Zachary Peebles came by and picked up Eudene Peebles. They went and picked up Brianna and heath Phan and them went to the Blockville Church of God to see the Easter drama.
