Veresta Webb Smith, 73
Mrs. Smith, wife of the late Clem T. Smith, was born in Treutlen County the daughter of the late Thomas J. Webb and Thelma Ely Webb. Living in this area most of her life, she was receptionist with Webb Contractors and was a Charter Member of Calvary Community Chapel Church. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey D. Smith of Byron; her granddaughter, Kirsten Rose Smith of Warner Robins; two brothers, James "Jack" Webb (Judy) and the Rev. Robert E. Webb (Ruby), all of Macon; her sister, Bobbie Meeks (George) of Kite and several nieces and nephews. Visit www.mem.com to express tribute.
