Swainsboro police officers reported:

March 17

A Gumlog Rd. woman reported an argument with the offender, who was identified, while in a vehicle.

A Husqvarna employee reported finding a trailer parked on the yard that had been struck by another trailer.

An E. Pine St. woman reported that she left her couch cushion on the porch to dry and someone took it and burned a hole in it then left it lying on the ground.

A Shepard Garage employee reported that a vehicle parked on his property to be worked on had the passenger side window broken out, but nothing was taken.

AWal-Mart employee reported that the offender, who was identified, was an employee until 3-17 and stole 2 iPods and a Zune.

March 18

An Emanuel Medical Center employee reported that the offender, who was identified, attempted to gain entry to the ICU department and, after being denied entry, pulled the doors open, causing damage to both doors and locks.

A Gumlog Rd. woman reported that the offender, who was identified, went into her purse and removed her cell phone and her keys.

An E. Main St. woman reported that she struck a curb with her right front wheel, causing damage to the car.

AEhrlich Farm Rd. man reported that his son left his vehicle parked at SHS from Thursday till Sunday while on a trip and when he returned the back glass was broken out of the vehicle.

A W. MLK woman reported that the offender, who was identified, struck her with a vehicle.

A W. MLK woman reported that she came home and found her TV missing and the back door wide open, along with a bedroom window latch broken.

AHarris St. man reported that the went to the Buma Club to buy cigarettes and got into a verbal altercation with the offenders, who were identified.

A N. Coleman St. woman reported that her boyfriend, the identified offender, came home intoxicated and started calling her names and pulling her hair. She attempted to leave, but offender grabbed her foot.

March 19

A Mist St. woman reported that someone damaged the side door under her carport trying to get into her residence but did not make entry.

March 20

ALaxmi Food Mart employee reported that someone pumped $41.55 of gas and drove off without paying.

An E. Side St., Twin City woman reported an argument with the offender, who was identified.

A South Circle Dr. woman reported that her wallet was taken from her purse in the SHS library.

An Overstreet Plumbing employee reported that someone took a backhoe dump bucket from his property around two to three weeks ago.

March 21

A W. MLK Blvd. woman reported that the offenders, who were identified, continue to tell her they are going to get her and fix her.

An Easy Stop employee reported the offender was caught on camera stealing lottery tickets.

A Carver St. woman reported receiving a call threatening her.

A Mt. Shady Church Rd. man reported that the offender, who was identified, came and started fussing and yelling at him.

A Pratt Ave. woman reported that the offenders, who were identified, removed several items from her residence.

Officers were dispatched to DMN Trucking Parts on W. Meadowlake Parkway after 911 received a burglary call.

A Lewis Rd. man reported that someone broke into the Moose Lodge through a door on the back side of the building and took several items.

An E. MLK woman reported that she and the offender, who was identified, argued about the child and the offender put a hand around her throat.

A Stevens Dr. woman reported the offender, who was identified, cut up her children's' clothes and broke two picture frames inside her residence.

ANew St. man reported that he gave the offender, who was identified, an engagement ring and now he wants it back but the offender refuses to return it because she says it was a gift and that he has her class ring.

March 22

A N. Coleman St. man reported that someone removed several items from the back of his pickup truck.

Officers were dispatched to the First Baptist Church on a burglary call.

AN. MLK Blvd. woman reported that someone broke the rear passenger window of her vehicle.

A Center St. woman reported that the offender, who was identified, came in her room and told her to get out and when she refused, hit her with a closed fist.

A Hall Rd. woman reported that while she was in the club someone entered her vehicle and took several items.

March 23

Officers were dispatched to Bellamy's in reference to someone jumping over the fence.

March 24

A Longview Rd. man reported that the offender, who was identified, kept coming onto his property after the judge had warned him not to be on the property.

H.B. 670: Income tax credit for hauling wood residuals to a renewable biomass facility. For FY09, the state would lose in between $4.5 million and $5.2 million with this exemption.

H.B. 851: Expands current income tax credit for rehab of historic structures. For FY10, the state would lose anywhere between $2.7 million and $10 mil.

H.B. 957: Extends sales tax exemption for Goodwill and Health Clinics. For FY09, the state would lose under $1.5 million.

H.B. 977: Tax incentives for High Deductible Health Plans. For FY09, the state would lose $11.5 million with this with this exemption.

H.B. 1100: Revisions to Film Tax Credit. For FY09, the state would lose $10 million.

H.B. 1133: Income tax credits for individuals' contributions to organizations who will award private school student scholarships. For FY09, the state would lose $50 million with this exemption.

H.R. 1246: Eliminates car tag tax and reimburses local governments for the lost revenue. Also, the resolution eliminates the state portion of the property tax and freezes assessed property values at 2008 levels. In FY10, the state would lose $423.7 million.
