One killed in high speed chase On Saturday, March 22 at 3:06 a.m., Starsky Toron Johnson, 30, of Swainsboro was fleeing an Emanuel County Sheriff Unit in a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix southbound on Highway 56. He lost control of the vehicle and struck some trees near Daniels Chevrolet. Tonya L. Bostic, 41, also of Swainsboro, was the passenger in the vehicle and was killed in the accident, according to the Georgia State Patrol. At this time there were no charges pressed. The incident is still under investigation.
