Pond weed management class offered The Emanuel County Extension Office is offering a free class on Pond Weed Management on Monday, March 24. The class will be held at the Varner 4-H Center in Swainsboro beginning at 7 p.m. Pond owners and managers are invited to bring examples of their problem weeds to help in the discussion. The class will be taught by Dr. Gary Burtle, Extension Aquaculture Specialist from Tifton. Please call the Emanuel County Extension Office at 237- 1226 to pre-register for the class.
