      On January 26, the Emanuel Arts Council presented a free concert in Stillmore. Board members Jeb Cameron, Alan Brasher and Ron Ellison entertained a full house with country and bluegrass music. These traveling troubadours may turn up in your town. More concerts of this type are being planned.

      Senate Passes Property Tax Relief! The Senate this week gave a $95 mil. tax cut to property owners by eliminating the one-quarter mil. property tax that currently goes to the state. S.R. 859 will amend the Constitution ending any involvement the state has in property taxes.
