Mary Alice Flanders, 95 SWAINSBORO--Graveside service for Mary Alice Flanders, 95, was held Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Sardis Cemetery with Elder Lindy Webb officiating. She died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008 at Emanuel Medial Center Nursing Home. Ms. Flanders was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County. She was the daughter of the late Arch and Callie Flanders. She had attended Sardis Primitive Baptist Church and had been a great caregiver to many people for generations. Survivors include a brother, Maxwell J. Flanders (Doris) of Lyons; a sister, Martha Nell Braziel of Lyons; and a cousin, Sybal D. Williams of Swainsboro. Tomlinson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
