The theme for the Emanuel County Relay for Life, "Toon Out Cancer" was announced at the Celebrity Auction on Tuesday evening at the Cadle Barn. The Planning Committee dressed as cartoon characters for the kickoff. Harry Martin recognized the late Marie Wofford and her commitment and efforts for Relay for Life in Emanuel County. Deborah Martin assisted Chuck Wofford in lighting a purple candle in memory of Marie. Survivors were also recognized at the event.
