Alma Peebles Anderson, 94
Mrs. Anderson was a native of Emanuel County and the last child of Richard and Trudie Peebles. She was owner and operator of Anderson's Grocery Store, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton T. Anderson; and daughter, Angela Anderson. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Jo and James H "Buddy" May of Swainsboro; four grandchildren, Jimmy May, Julie May Durden, Jason and Erin May all of Swainsboro; and Alma Joanna May of Wrightsville; and four great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Durden, Jessica Durden, Rebecca Durden and Justin Riner. Pallbearers were Donny Garrett, Jinx Womack, Jeff Allagood, Joe Peebles, Chucky Mason, Sam Porterfield, Jody Ware, Marvin Henry, Ty Hodges.
