Mattie Wright Mack, 97 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Mattie Wright Mack, 97, was held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008 at William Grove Holiness Church with Elder Bertha Jones presiding and Rev. James Sheppard officiating. Burial was in Swainsboro City Cemetery. She died Jan. 7, 2008 at Heritage Healthcare in Swainsboro. Mrs. Mack was born on Dec. 28, 1910 to the late Will and Margaret Wright in Emanuel County. She was a member of Brinson Rock Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by four children, Margaret, George, Ola Mae and J.B. Survivors include five daughters, Essie Hodges of New York City, N.Y.; Annie Ruth Outler and Ruby Marion of Swainsboro; Johnnie Bell and Bobbie Mack of Philadelphia, Penn.; a son, Willie Mack Jr. or Philadelphia, Penn.; a sister, Callie Bryan of Savannah; surrogate children, Clara Young and Charlie Mack of Swainsboro; and Otis Mack of Macon; 34 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 46 greatgreat grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Coleman, Frank Coleman, James Marion, Joseph Outler, Anthony Mack, David Green, Artis Outler and George Outler. Mosley's Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
