DEA wrestling defeats RTCA

The David Emanuel Academy Wrestling Eagles defeated Robert Toombs Christian Academy twice this past week. The first meet was in Perry with DEA winning 30 to 24. Chase McCook, Alex Roberson, and Cameron Myers won by forfeit. Owens and Dowd of RTCA also won by forfeit.

In actual matches, Michael Holloway pinned Owens of RTCA, Anderson of RTCA pinned Ridge Holland, Alston Dickerson pinned Gibbs, Thompson pinned John Dekle. DEA followed the win with a loss to host school Westfield Academy by a score of 16 to 66. Chase McCook won by forfeit, Alex Roberson won 20 to 10, and Michael Holloway won by pin. On Thursday Mt. De Sals defeat the hosting Eagles in Stillmore 48 to 18. Cameron Myers, Michael Holloway, and John Dekle all won by pin. DEA bounced back to defeat RTCA 36 to 18. Chase McCook, Alex Roberson, Chet Ellison, and Cameron Myers all by forfeit. Michael Holloway, Ridge Holland, and Luis Quinones won by pin.

he next competition the Eagles will be in is the A/AA Tournament this Saturday in Stillmore. This tournament will have all the Aand AAteams in the state. Entry fee for the whole day is only $5.
