Mt. Shady bid goes to Everett Dykes At a called meeting Wednesday, Jan. 2, Emanuel County Commissioners Keith Thompson, James Canady and David Oglesby voted to award the Mt. Shady Road Project (County Road 267) to Everett Dykes Grassing Company with the low bid of $269,156.70. (Commissioners Desse Davis and Brad Hooks were not present.) Other bids submitted were as follows: Middle Georgia Road Builders and Developers, Inc.: $433,556.50; Reeves Construction Company: $341,517.34; and Littlefield Construction Company, Inc.: $284,987.42.
