New EGC entrance open to public

The new East Georgia College Entrance Road is now open. The new entrance road is located off of Lamb's Bridge Road, inside the Pathway Rural Technology Park corridor.

"The road is a beautiful stretch of nearly a mile through the forested portion of the campus and will be an educational corridor detailing the diverse ecological areas that are being traveled through," said Dr. John Black, president of EGC.

The temporary entrance located near the "old" entrance on Thigpen Drive will remain open through Jan. 17. Also, the 'back' entrance from Hill Street will be open from 6 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday through Friday, except recognized holidays.
