Kassidy Mays celebrates 3rd birthday

KASSIDY MAYS

Kassidy Derriell Mays, daughter of Derrish Mays and Shimica Carter, celebrated her 3rd birthday with a "Dora the Explorer" party on December 13 with her early headstart class. Kassy turned 3 years old on that day.

The party area was decorated to go along with the theme, including matching cups, plates, napkins and tablecloths. The honoree and her guests were served cheetos, chocolate chip cookies, rice crispy treats, tootsie roll suckers, birthday cake and Hawaiian punch. Kassy's birthday cake was decorated with a jungle setting and flowers, trimmed in orange icing, with Dora and Boots on top to complete the theme.

Kassy received many nice gifts, including a special birthday card from her father, Derrish Mays, and a beautiful card and a bouquet of pink balloons attached to a princess bike from her grandmother, Teresa Riles.

Helping Kassy celebrate were her classmates, Keaton Pitts, Jada Lariscey, Kermit Roberts, Braylon Thompson and C.J. Martin; teachers, Tina Johnson and Angela Simmons; brother, Tristyn Derrium May; cousins, Mehoshi May and Tezarian Scott; great grandmother, Emma May; aunt, Diane May and special guests, Sheka Corley.
