Henry L. Ricks Sr., 72 STILLMORE--Funeral for Henry L. Ricks Jr., 72, was held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Williams Grove Church of the Living God in Swainsboro with Pastor Alice Davis and Rev. Willie Harden officiating. Burial was in Stillmore City Cemetery. He died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007 at Candler County Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Ricks was a native and resident of Emanuel County where he attended public schools. He lived in Stillmore and was a retiree of the forestry industry. Survivors include his wife, Gensye Wilkins Ricks of Stillmore; three daughters, Cathy Ricks of Trenton, N.J. Beverly Ricks of Augusta; and Vanesia Hall of Orlando, Fla.; six sons, Kirk Ricks of Miami, Fla.; Henry Ben Ricks of Stillmore; Ivan Ricks and Shannon Ricks of Swainsboro; Bryan Ricks of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and Jeffery Ricks of Savannah; five brothers, Ulysses Ricks, Jay Ricks, Willie Ricks and Burnice Ricks of Trenton, N.J.; 26 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Reno Tapley Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
