Feeling the Christmas spirit!

In
keeping with a Kiwanis Club goal to serve young children in Emanuel County, the
Kiwanis Christmas Project took place Monday, Dec. 10 at Swainsboro Pre-K Center.
The club donated new bicycles for 34 children to encourage them to maintain a
healthy lifestyle. Among those receiving bikes were Kevon Carswell, Ja'Kiya
Sherrod and Ja'Niya Coleman. Charles Brewer, assisted by Adi Galloway and
Caroline Harless, chaired the project. Chip and Jane Durden worked with Pam Carr
who coordinated the activity at the school. The event was sponsored by
Swainsboro Kiwanis and Wal-Mart.
