In keeping with a Kiwanis Club goal to serve young children in Emanuel County, the Kiwanis Christmas Project took place Monday, Dec. 10 at Swainsboro Pre-K Center. The club donated new bicycles for 34 children to encourage them to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Among those receiving bikes were Kevo... More ... Were you in the Redcoat Band? Rylan Smith of Swainsboro was in the University of Georgia Redcoat Band from 1995-1999. She played tenor saxophone. Smith marched in the Outback Bowl twice and in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl once. She is currently the counselor at Swainsboro Middle School. More ...
