Sheriff's Report Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported the following cases: Nov. 29 Deputy was dispatched to a house fire on Perch Rd., Swainsboro. No one was injured. Nov. 30 A Mills St., Adrian woman reported her son has been violent towards her, and has also threatened her life. Dec. 1 A Williams Rd., Kite man reported two unknown males tried to sell him a car for $500. When the victim showed them that he had $300 only, the suspects grabbed the money and drove off. Victim said he was caught in the car door and was dragged several feet down the road. Vehicle was later spotted and driver was detained. Case is under investigation. A Scuffletown Rd., Midville woman reported a man, whom she identified, had been drinking all night and punched her in the face. Dec. 2 A McKenzie Dr. woman reported her boyfriend pushed her against the porch railing and hurt her back. Dec. 3 A Railroad Ave., Oak Park woman reported her neighbor, whom she identified, is stealing her cable service. Dec. 4 A Scarboro Church Rd., Twin City man reported a man, whom he identified, punched him in his mouth, causing him to lose a tooth. A Spring Lake Rd., Twin City woman reported she caught a burglar in her house. Suspect fled. A Summertown Main St., Summertown woman reported her neighbors own two pit bulls that come onto her property. Victim is afraid the dogs will harm her and her children. Dec. 5 Employee at Time Saver on U.S. 1 at I-16 reported a suspicious vehicle keeps circling the building. Victim thinks it is an ex-employee. Dec. 6 A man driving on Mc- Garrh Mill Pond Rd. reported hitting a deer. A Mitzi Lane, Swainsboro woman reported she and her boyfriend have had violent arguments. A 3d Ave., Stillmore man reported someone damaged his front door. A Pinetucky Rd., Kite man reported a collection agency was attempting to collect $954 for an AT&T phone bill that was not his. A man driving on Fairground Rd. reported hitting a deer. Dec. 7 A Glenwood Rd. woman reported a man, who was identified, stole her groceries and Christmas gifts. Deputy responded to a custody dispute. Dec. 8 A Magnolia Lane juvenile female reported being bitten by a dog. A woman at Family Dollar reported her cell phone was stolen. A woman driving on Hwy. 57 W. reported hitting a deer. Dec. 9 A Herndon Rd., Midville couple reported their dirt bike was stolen. A woman driving on Blackbird Rd. reported hitting a deer. A N. Old Reidsville Rd. man reported an attempted burglary. A A man driving on Hwy. 57 E. reported something in the road damaged his car. A Buckwill Dr. couple reported someone broke into heir home and stole several items. Dec. 10 AHwy. 192 N., Midville man reported someone stole several deer hunting items from his property.
