Operation Homefront request emergency assistance Operation Homefront announced that it has been overwhelmed by requests for emergency assistance by military families, and the nonprofit organization is requesting immediate donations from the local community to help address the need. "We need everything from cash to help pay utility bills to groceries to businesses who can donate auto and household repair services," said Kim Scofi, Chapter president. "Even if you can only donate one time, we're very grateful. Heaven knows these military families are stressed out by the sacrifices they have made and they deserve our help in return."
