Dr. Bonnie Anderson Bray, 78 NEW YORK, N.Y.--Funeral for Dr. Bonnie Anderson Bray, 78, was held Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Twin City First Baptist Church with Elder Tommy Rountree and Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating. Burial was in Twin City City Cemetery. She died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at the Isabella Nursing Home after an extended illness. Dr. Bray was born in Lincoln County, held a Ph.D. in Bio-Chemistry and was retired from the Research Department with Columbia Univesity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bray and her parents, Roy Stephen Anderson, Sr. and Bonnie New Anderson. Survivors include a brother, Roy Stephen Anderson, Jr. of Twin City; and several cousins. Pallbearers were Phagin Watson, C. L. Goodman, Richard Brown, Sonny Trapnell, Neil Clay and Mark Brown. Honorary escorts were Deacons of the Twin City First Baptist Church and Calvary Sunday School Class members.
