Unselfish deeds bring smile to reader DEAR EDITOR: Recently, I visited a friend in a local nursing home. In the cafeteria, Ms. Jane Tomberlin was giving the patients a little Christmas cheer. She was serving them Christmas cookies, cakes and punch. This unselfish deed had brought a huge smile to the patients' faces. I wondered how many people in Emanuel County volunteer their time and energy for such noble causes. It truly warms your heart.
