Dorothy H. Walton, 73 JONESBORO--Memorial service for Dorothy H. Walton, 73, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at 4 p.m. Burial will be Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Zita Cemetery in Tennille. She died Nov. 24, 2007 after a battle with cancer. Mrs. Walton attended Swainsboro High School and was a 1952 graduate. She attended Florence State College and worked in Atlanta prior to marrying. She retired from the Clayton Count Board of Education where she was a payroll clerk in the Food Services Dept. She enjoyed caring for her flowers, bird watching, playing bridge, decorating her house for the holidays and spending time with friends and family. Survivors include her daughters, Ann Walton- Bowe and husband Mike of Stockbridge; Jan Bradley and husband Skip of Houston, Texas; son, Trey Walton of Jackson; grandchildren, Clay Walton, Nathan Bowe, Rebekah Bradley, Genoa Bowe, Rachel Bradley, Leah Bowe and Janna Bowe; and a sister, Florence Kavanaugh of Cocoa Beach, Fla.
