Naomi Watson Harvey, 102 CROSS-GREEN-Funeral for Naomi Watson Harvey, 102, was held Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Elder Delmus G. Mosley officiating. Burial was in Green Cemetery, She died Nov. 12, 2007. Mrs. Harvey was born on June 16, 1905 to the late Elder and Mrs. Joshua W. Watson in Emanuel County. She attended public schools in Emanuel County and was a member of Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church in the Cross- Green Community and New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was a certified nursing assistant and worked at Golden Age nursing Home in Ft. Lauderdale. After retirement, she moved back to Dublin. After her husband's deaths, she moved to Emanuel County to be with her widowed sister, Lou Anna Riggs. Failing health made her move to Augusta, where she lived at The Place At Augusta, a nursing and rehabilitation center. Survivors include her sister, Lou Anna Riggs of Augusta; and three nieces, Jewel R. Giles of Savannah; Clara R. Slater of Augusta; and Dr. Louvincey Dewitt Brown of Lithonia. Mosley's Funeral home had charge of arrangements.
