Mary Sherrod Rich, 71 TWIN CITY--Funeral for Mary Sherrod Rich, 71, was held Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Morris and Rev. Eddie Hodges officiating. Burial was in Twin City City Cemetery. She died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2007 at Heritage Healthcare of Swainsboro. Mrs. Rich was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County. She was retired from Twin City Nursing Home and Swainsboro Nursing Home, and was a member of Swainsboro Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Clarence E. Rich; two sons, Wayne Rich and Kenneth Rich of Twin City; a brother, Bobby Sherrod of Twin City; five sisters, Marjorie S. Johnson of Savannah; Lillian S. Hodges and Johnnie S. Canady of Swainsboro; Janie S. Perkins of Waynesboro; and Louise S. Barker of Millen; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Don Rountree, Emmett Rountree, David Rountree, Tommy Rountree, Robby Youmans, and Jeffery Lane. Tomlinson Funeral Home in charge of the services.
