Judge blocks fire lane DEAR EDITOR: Earlier last week, a friend and I were coming out of Wal-Mart. We noticed that our magistrate judge was also exiting the store. We were shocked to watch Mr. Ronald Wiggins as he walked directly to the fire lane, got into his car and left. We didn't believe he was on any type of urgent official business, as my friend and I had also noticed him in the checkout line. There were many unoccupied parking spaces only feet away from where Mr. Wiggins parked. I believe that Mr. Wiggins needs to be reminded that laws apply to everyone, especially elected officials who are sworn to uphold them. More importantly though, blocking fire lanes jeopardizes lives.
