ECI, SHS host region playoffs

ECI: Region 3-A champs! After finishing a perfect season, the ECI Bulldogs clinched the region title. Washaun Ealey pushes over the goal line to help the Bulldogs finish a perfect season.
Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs and Swainsboro High School Tigers will host the first round of state playoffs Friday night, Nov. 16, at 7:30 in their home stadiums.

The ECI Bulldogs will host the Seminole County Indians. Principal Boyd English invites everyone to come out and support the Dogs by wearing red to the game.

On the same night, SHS will host Cook County High School. Head Coach and Athletic Director Shane Williamson asks everyone to come out and support the Tigers by wearing black and gold. Region championship long sleeved T-shirts are on sale for $20 at the school.

In the play-offs, the GHSA sets the ticket price and pass regulations. All tickets will be $8 at the gate. There will be no acceptance of any passes other than GHSA coaches' passes. There will be no reserved seats; all tickets are for general admission.
SHS: Region 3-AA champs! After working extremely hard this season, the Swainsboro Tigers finish the season 9- 1. The Tigers used a different offense this season and it paid off. One of the key runners for the Tigers is Kawaskie Coleman who has made his mark on the season.
