Smith State Park hosts annual cane grinding November 17
      The seventh annual Cane Grinding event will be held at George L. Smith II State Park near Twin City on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will be able to observe cane being ground and there will be jars of syrup for sale and sampling of cane juice before it is turned into syrup.
