Scholar Athlete Award
WJBF TV visited Swainsboro High School on Oct. 31 to interview scholar athlete Jayde Nail. Dr. Elisabeth Blumer-Thompson, Senior English teacher, nominated Jayde for the honor. Marketing Specialist Scott Skadan interviewed Jayde and her father Gordon Nail, Dr. Blumer-Thompson, and both of Jayde's high school coaches - Softball Coach Rob Gray and Basketball Coach Bobby Andrews. WJBF will honor Jayde during the Scholar Athlete segment for one week in November. Pictured seated are Jayde with her parents, Gordon and Michelle Nail.
