Robert Lee Conley Sr., 53 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Robert Lee Conley Sr., 53, was held Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at 2 p.m. in the Peebles Curry Memorial Chapel with Rev. Arthur Lee Conley and Rev. Joe Bedgood officiating. Burial was in Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. He died Nov. 3, 2007 at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Conley was a native of Washington County, but lived most of his life in Emanuel County. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruby Riner Conley. He was an auctioneer and employed with Kight's Used Cars Inc., and former owner of Swainsboro Raceway. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Odom Conley of Swainsboro; four daughters, Jennifer Thompson, Jenny Cox, Robyn Cumbee, and Bridgette Conley all of Swainsboro; three sons, Robert Lee Conley Jr. of Nashville Tenn.; Robert Cole Conley of Swainsboro; and Henry Hall of Swainsboro; six brothers, Rev. Arthur Lee Conley of Swainsboro; William Conley of Swainsboro; Lynn Conley of Avon Park, Fla.; Ronnie Conley of Avon Park FL. Lewis Conley of Scott; and Lonnie Conley of Swainsboro; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Benjie Donaldson, Wendell Walden, Danny Wayne Faircloth, Corbin Wiggins, Graham Lawson and Paul Purvis.
