Veterans, Art Stroll

There will be many things to do this weekend in Emanuel County, so get out there and join in the festivities!

On Saturday, Nov. 10, Emanuel Rangers Chapter #2318 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy will present eight Military Service awards to descendants of Confederate soldiers and sailors. These awards will be presented during the Veterans' celebration at 10:30 a.m. in the George L. Smith Room of Franklin Memorial Library.

Also on Saturday will be the Second Saturday Art Stroll. If you haven't participated in one of these art strolls, we highly recommend it for you and your family. Many local, regional and national artists will be featured in our galleries and businesses. It's also a good time to start holiday shopping! Participating businesses will be open from 5-8 p.m.
