Dayfall wins at Club La Vela

DAYFALL

Local rock band Dayfall traveled to Panama City, Fla., to compete in the 2007 Battle of Bands at Club La Vela, the largest nightclub in the United States, which was held on Oct. 19-20. After two nights of tough competition, the voting was tabulated with Dayfall rising to the top as grand prize winner. The prize consisted of a trophy, $1,000, and an invitation to perform again at Club La Vela for MTV's Spring Break 2008.

In addition to their recent victory, Dayfall was notified that they were chosen to audition for the Bodog Battle of Bands, an international competition. Bands were chosen based on online voting from the fans. The chosen bands will compete for regional wins and move on to the next round. The winner of the Bodog Battle of Bands will receive a one million dollar recording contract. Dayfall will compete on Nov. 8 at The Vinyl in Atlanta for their chance to advance to the next round of competition.
