Linnie Rheney Taylor, 65 SWAINSBORO--Funeral for Linnie Rheney Taylor, 65, was held Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Flanders and Rev. Lamar Kersey officiating. Burial was in Hall Cemetery near Swainsboro. She died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro after an extended illness. Mrs. Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County and was the daughter of the late James B. and Gertrude Rheney. She was employed for several years at Creston Mills and was member of Spring Hill Church in Swainsboro. Survivors include her husband, William "Duffie" Taylor of Swainsboro; her brother, Roscoe George Rheney of Swainsboro; and a special niece, Sherrie Ann Cowart of Twin City. Pallbearers were John Claxton, Bobby Claxton, Thomas Woods, Gene Fields, Henry Terwilliger and Chris Cowart. Honorary pallbearers were Neil Brown and Larry Claxton. Johnson Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
