Dr. Davis acquires TC health center

Anthony Davis, MD announces the acquisition of Twin City Family Health Center from Emanuel Medical Center effective Dec. 1. "I am very excited about this change, and I am committed to deliver medical care to current and future patients. I look forward to a long relationship with my patients and this community," he said.

"We are very pleased with Dr. Davis' decision to purchase Twin City Family Health Center," said Len Daugherty, Emanuel Medical Center, CEO. "We totally support this opportunity for him to develop a strong private practice. He is an asset to the medical community"

"Emanuel Medical Center opened the clinic in the Twin City community in 1992," said Mitchell Fagler, Hospital Authority chairman. "It has always been our goal to have a full-time doctor in Twin City to serve the community. We are pleased that Dr. Davis has decided to take over the clinic and make an investment in the city of Twin City."

Dr. Davis grew up in Emanuel County and returned to Swainsboro in 2003 when he joined Drs. James Ray and Joel Bray, Main Street Family Practice. He started seeing patients in Twin City on a full-time basis in 2004. "Twin City is a wonderful community, and I feel a real connection with the residents. I consider it a privilege to be available for their medical needs," he said.

Specializing in family practice, he treats patients from birth to geriatrics and gladly accepts new patients. His office is located 115 Gilliken Street, Twin City, 478-763-3036.

Dr. Davis and his wife Brandi have two children, Jack and Anna Claire.
