SHS Tigers bring down Josey, 50-0

      After an entire week of Homecoming activities, the Tigers were clearly ready to play some ball. The stands were packed and everyone was pumped from the "extracurricular activities" that only Homecoming brings. It was our Homecoming game, and the Tigers were dead set on showing Josey who was boss.

Thomas Jefferson blanks DEA

      Two time defending state champion and undefeated Thomas Jefferson Academy came to Stillmore last Friday and whitewashed David Emanuel Academy 57-0 on Homecoming night at DEA. The Jaguars improved to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in region play while the Eagles dropped to 3-5 overall and 3-4 in the region.

Football contest results
      This week's contest has been the closest one yet. There was not much difference between the entries. The Georgia/Florida game and the South Carolina/Tennssee tiebreaker was the games that determined the outcome. 3rd Annual Parrish Jr. Pine Tree Golf Tournament
      The 3rd Annual Butch Parrish Junior Pine Tree Golf Tournament was held at the Swainsboro Golf and Country Club Saturday, October 6, 2007 with four age groups competing. 32 contestants competed, most were form Emanuel County, but some were from Roswell, Millen, and Evans, Georgia.

     Jonathan Scott of Twin City dropped this six point buck in his tracs. Jonathan is the 10-year-old son of Johnny and Donna Scott. He is the grandson of Wayne and Leona Scott and Dorothy Lanier.
