Sheriff's Report

Emanuel County Sheriff's deputies reported the following cases:

Oct. 8

While interviewing a male subject, deputy discovered subject had broken into a home on Halls Bridge Rd. and stolen a TV. Suspect said he stole the TV for $100 worth of crack cocaine.

Oct. 9

A Lucky St., Swainsboro woman reported the service pole, meter box and steps were stolen from her property.

Oct. 10

A Quick Loop man reported a woman, who was identified, took his car without permission.

Oct. 12 A man who owns property on Rosie Powell Rd. and Pendleton Springs Rd. reported someone stole some irrigation pipe.

A woman driving on Hwy. 56 S. reported hitting a deer.

A Frank Hutcheson Rd., Adrian woman reported her husband broke something in the refrigerator after she became upset about his beer drinking and that he also threw all the beer into the yard.

Oct. 13

AHwy. 192. N. male resident reported an unknown vehicle had been parked there all week. Vehicle was towed.

An E. 4th St., Stillmore couple reported two men, who were identified, came into their home and started a fight.

A McLeod Bridge Rd. male youth reported another male youth threatened him.

A man driving on I-16 reported hitting a deer.

A Harrell Cemetery Rd., Lyons man reported someone stole his rifle.

An Oak Park Hwy., Lyons man reported an unknown subject was walking down the road and acting strangely. Witness reported the subject yelled at cars and damaged a mailbox.

A S. Thompson Rd., Swainsboro man reported someone broke into his truck.

A Buck Corbin Rd., Lyons woman reported receiving nine calls from people claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. Suspects wanted victim's banking information.

A man driving on Hwy. 297 S. reported hitting a deer.

Oct. 14

Deputy reported making a traffic stop on Main and Main streets in Swainsboro.

An Ed Youmans Rd. man reported his neighbor shot and killed one of his dogs.

Employee at Washington EMC reported someone damaged the light pole on Wes Lawson Rd.

An Old Nunez Rd. man reported someone stole his bicycle.

A man driving on Lambs Bridge Rd. reported hitting a deer.

Oct. 15

Deputy responded to a trailer fire on Hwy. 80 E.

A Lake Luck Dr. woman reported a woman, who was identified, stole her green tree frog decorative license plate.

A George L. Smith State Park Rd., Twin City woman reported she is being threatened by unknown subjects.

A Hwy. 57 E. man reported a woman, who was identified, used his social security number to open an account at Chadwicks.

A man driving on Hwy. 46 reported hitting a deer.

A Linda Dr. woman reported she and a man, who was identified, were arguing about the children when he picked her up and threw her.

Deputy was called to Griffin Ferry Rd. to a domestic dispute. Witnesses reported seeing a man, who was identified, dragging a woman into a van, and then out of the van into an apartment.

A Bell Rd., Swainsboro woman reported five fraudulent charges were made on her credit card.

Oct. 16

A Hwy. 221, Adrian woman reported someone stole several lawn items and pawned them. Victim was told her items were at Tom's Pawn Shop.

Two Parham Rd. women reported a man, who was identified, stole several electronic items and pawned them at Tom's Pawn Shop.

Jimmy Clark, 33, 510 Overstreet Rd., Swainsboro was arrested for aggravated assault and VGCSA.

An Old McLeod Bridge Rd., Swainsboro woman reported a woman, who was identified, threatened to kill her and her boyfriend.

Awoman driving on Mt. Olivet Church Rd. reported hitting a deer.

Oct. 17

A Scuffletown, Garfield woman reported her exboyfriend is harassing her.

A man who parked his freightliner truck on Fairground Rd. reported someone stole the radio.

A woman driving on Hwy. 80 W. reported hitting a deer.

Oct. 18

A man on Old Savannah Rd. reported someone stole $250 in items from his new store selling outdoor equipment.

Employee at Department of Veterans Service reported receiving a call with a voice singing, "you can call me for a date."

A woman who owns a mobile home on Stingray Rd. reported someone broke into it and stole a $2,000 bedroom suite.

A woman driving on Bird Flanders Rd. reported hitting a dog.

An Old Kenfield Rd., Twin City woman reported an unknown person gained entry into her home.

Oct. 19

Employee at I-16 Wrecker Service reported someone broke the front door glass.
